BroadwayWorld recently got a behind the scenes look at Jennifer and her castmates in rehearsals for “The Library”, written by acclaimed writer Scott Z. Burns and directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh.

The show, which started previews at The Public Theater Off-Broadway last week, tells the story of a young girl (played by Chloe Grace Moretz), who survives a deadly shooting at her high school and struggles to relate the events to her parents and authorities. “I wanted to write a play about the stories we tell each other in the face of calamity — the pretty lies and the brutal truths,” said Burns in The Hollywood Reporter.“This is something Steven and I have discussed over the last decade while making movies. What is the value of truth? What is the cost of a lie?” Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis added, “This production promises to be an extraordinary event”.

“The Library” opens on April 15th at The Public Theater and runs through the 27th.
