Leah Ryan’s Fund for Emerging Women Writers

On October 6th Jennifer preformed in a benefit celebrating the playwright Leah Ryan, who died of leukemia in 2008 at the age of 44. The Fund was created in her honor. The evening included a special performance of excerpts from Ryan’s work,directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman and hosted by Lisa Kron, performed by Jennifer Westfeldt, Julie White, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Christopher Durang, among others.
